President Zelenskyy announced Ukraine's readiness to include proposals from Brazil, Africa, China, the United States, and Arab countries in the Ukrainian Peace Formula. The plan envisages strengthening Ukraine's position to achieve a just peace through diplomacy.
Ukraine is ready to incorporate proposals from other countries into the Ukrainian Peace Formula. We are talking about Brazil, Africa, China, the United States, Arab countries and the Global South in general. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with the South Korean TV channel KBS, UNN reports.
"The victory plan is designed to strengthen Ukraine's position. And we have always said that from a strong position, Ukraine is ready for diplomacy. Diplomacy means a particular format of negotiations. As for the format of negotiations, we have proposed the Peace Summit and our Formula. This is our proposal and our opportunity. I believe that today we have not heard from any of the world leaders a substantive decision to end this war. There are only loud political statements," Zelensky said.
Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine is ready to incorporate proposals from other countries into the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
"On the other hand, we said that we are ready to include proposals from other countries in our Formula. There are no exceptions. Brazil, Africa, China, the United States, the Arab countries, the Global South in general - if they have proposals - and they have some proposals - we are not against involving them in our joint plan. I'm all for it," Zelenskyy said.
Zelensky explained the meaning of the Victory Plan.
"That you are strengthening Ukraine, and Ukraine will not lose in this war. And that Ukraine and the whole world are forcing Russia to end the war through diplomacy, not through losses. And this is a victory. A just peace through diplomacy is a victory, it is very important. You don't lose people. And then Ukraine has every chance that the war will not be very long. This is exactly what Putin wants: a long war as long as he is alive," Zelensky said.
