Ukraine will propose its steps to end the war and hear the opinion of its partners during the upcoming inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland, which is expected to be attended by leaders from about 100 countries, while Russia is not invited to the first summit.

During the first inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland, Ukraine will be ready to hear steps from its international partners on how they see the war ending. Kyiv will also propose its own steps. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the Delphi Economic Forum, an UNN correspondent reports.

As for the question of how to end the war, there is a diplomatic way, and we have offered it to the world. The date of the first inaugural Peace Summit will be announced soon. I am sure it will be positive. I am sure the leaders of the world will be there. We will propose the steps we see. We will be ready to hear the steps from our partners, how they see the end of the war

He noted that an action plan would be developed after the first inaugural summit.

After that, we will have a detailed plan for ending the war on the table. If the world really wants to end (the war - ed.), it will force Russia to do so

The Guardian, citing the country's Federal Council , reportedthat Switzerland will hold a two-day high-level peace conference on Ukraine on June 15 and 16.

The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, reported that more than 160 countries will be invited to the Global Peace Summit to be held in Switzerland at the level of leaders, .

Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently stated that Ukraine expects about 100 countries to attend the first inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland.   

Russia is not expected to participate in the first summit, but it may be invited to the second summit. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Russia will not take part in the peace conference on Ukraine in Switzerlandeven if an official invitation is received.
