President Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky, who began preparing the government program. They discussed the heads of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the fact that the supervisory board of Naftogaz appointed Serhiy Fedorenko as the temporary head of the company.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that he held a meeting with the new Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi, and following the results, in particular, noted that the supervisory board of Naftogaz appointed Serhiy Fedorenko to manage the company for a specified period instead of the latter, reports UNN.

The Prime Minister, according to the President, "has begun preparing a government program that will be presented to society and parliamentarians." "The approach to governance will be as pragmatic as possible: personal responsibility of each minister, all heads of central government bodies for the implementation of tasks identified as priorities. Serhiy has full opportunity to form such a government policy and such a team of central executive power that will be able to strengthen our state with additional forces," Zelenskyy stated.

"We also discussed with the Prime Minister the appointment of acting ministers of foreign affairs of Ukraine and defense of Ukraine. A critical priority is preparation for the heating season. In particular, Serhiy informed that the independent supervisory board of Naftogaz unanimously appointed Serhiy Fedorenko to manage the company for a specified period – a professional person: he went through the transformation of Ukrnafta together with Serhiy Koretskyi. It was a path of successfully cleansing all internal processes in the company from predatory oligarchic influence, and thanks to this, Ukrnafta became one of the most profitable state-owned companies," Zelenskyy noted.
According to him, "work is also constantly ongoing to restore energy infrastructure after Russian strikes. Today, the Russians again attacked Naftogaz facilities – unfortunately, there is significant damage." "We discussed with the Prime Minister what steps are needed under such conditions, and it is important that, despite constant Russian attacks, we implement everything we agreed upon for preparation for winter. Glory to Ukraine!" Zelenskyy wrote.
