"Currently, 11 people are in hospitals in Dnipro after the Russian attack on the city. A rescue operation is ongoing at the site of the strike on the residential building. There may still be people under the rubble. Almost all night, the Russians were striking Dnipro and other cities and communities of ours. As of now, it is known that more than 30 people have been injured across Ukraine. There are also casualties in Chernihiv region, Odesa region, Kharkiv region. Unfortunately, there are fatalities. Four people were killed. My condolences to the relatives and loved ones", - wrote Zelenskyy.
The President emphasized that "the tactics of the Russians remain unchanged: strike drones, cruise missiles, and a significant number of ballistics". "Most targets are ordinary infrastructure in cities. Residential buildings, energy facilities, enterprises have been damaged", - he noted.
"Every such strike should remind partners that the situation requires immediate and tough actions, operational strengthening of our air defense. And I am grateful for the decision on Thursday during meetings in Cyprus regarding additional contributions to the PURL program. There are political decisions from several European countries, and it is important that they be implemented as soon as possible", - emphasized Zelenskyy.
We also need to move towards the 21st package of European sanctions against Russia. The pause due to the blocking of the 20th package gave the aggressor additional time to adapt – it is important to counter this. We are already communicating with the EU team regarding possible new sanction steps. The main thing is to significantly limit the capabilities of the Russian military industry. Thank you all who help!
