On April 14, Israel's military cabinet (consisting of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and former Defense Minister Benny Gantz) discussed how Israel would respond to the Iranian attack, but according to CNN, the meeting ended without a decision, and the Israeli army was instructed to develop additional options for responding.
Context
Iran's attack on Israel on the evening of April 13 was a response to the April 1 attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus. That attack killed 13 people, including two high-ranking generals of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
