War in Ukraine spreads to EU territory following explosion in Romania - Kallas

The drone explosion in the port of the Romanian city of Constanța indicates that the Russian-Ukrainian war is increasingly spreading to the territory of the European Union. This was stated on the social network "X" by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, UNN reports.

Details

Kallas held a conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Luminița Odobescu, regarding this situation and expressed solidarity on behalf of the EU.

The ultimate responsibility for what happened rests squarely with Russia. As President Zelenskyy told Putin in an open letter yesterday: Moscow can stop this war any day. Next week, EU Defence Ministers will discuss how to further ramp up our support for Ukraine and increase the EU’s own defence readiness
