Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko discussed with Latvian Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs the accelerated transfer of equipment from Latvian CHPPs to restore energy facilities in Ukrainian cities, UNN reports.

According to Svyrydenko, work is currently underway in Latvia to strengthen the Ukrainian energy sector, which remains one of the primary targets of Russian attacks.
During today's massive shelling, the enemy targeted not only residential buildings, hospitals, and kindergartens, but also energy and gas infrastructure facilities.

Svyrydenko added that active preparations for the next heating season are underway.
