"Ukraine is ready to open a new chapter in relations with Georgia and continue a constructive dialogue following the meeting of leaders in Yerevan," stated Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha during a press briefing ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
Context
During a visit to the European summit in Yerevan in early May, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a one-on-one conversation with the Prime Minister of Georgia, which he called an important signal for the restoration of dialogue.
Following this, Sybiha discussed the normalization of bilateral relations with the Georgian Foreign Minister.
