Ukraine and Denmark sign arms purchase agreements worth 535 million euros: what will appear in the arsenal

Ukraine's Defense Ministry has signed implementation agreements with Denmark to purchase weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers. Funding in the amount of 535 million euros will come from Denmark, Sweden and frozen russian assets.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine have signed implementation agreements with the Ministry of Defense of Denmark, which define projects, terms of financing and arms supplies. The signed documents detail the agreements recorded earlier and provide for purchases from Ukrainian defense companies worth about 535 million euros. Funding will come from the governments of Denmark and Sweden and from the interest on frozen russian assets.

Director of the Procurement Policy Department Hlib Kanevsky said that under the agreements, Ukrainian state and private arms manufacturers will provide the Armed Forces with self-propelled artillery systems, attack drones, anti-tank weapons and missile weapons.

"The Danish model involves direct financing of producers. Under this mechanism, Ukraine has already received 50 million euros. These funds were used to finance the production of Bohdan self-propelled artillery systems for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecorneuil announced an agreement to transfer about 10 SCALP missiles to Ukraine. The French military also continues to train Ukrainian soldiers.
