Ukraine's power system remains balanced despite the damage to infrastructure. It is expected to import 12047 MWh of electricity from 5 countries, and the water level in the ZNPP pond is sufficient for the plant's operation.

Ukraine's energy system remains balanced, with electricity imports from 5 countries planned for today, the Energy Ministry said on Friday, UNN reports.

Details

"Currently, the power system remains balanced. Damage to the infrastructure complicates the operation of the power system," the Ministry of Energy said.

They urged Ukrainians to use electricity rationally, especially in the evening from 17:00 to 22:00. This helps power engineers keep the system in a more stable state, the ministry explained.

According to the Ministry of Energy, power engineers restored power to 69,177 consumers who were cut off from electricity as a result of hostilities.

Situation at ZNPP

"The water level in the cooling pond is 14.21 meters. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant," the Ministry of Energy said.

Import

For the current day, imports from Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Moldova are forecasted to total 12,047 MWh with a capacity of 1,267 MW.
