Kyiv • UNN
The heating season has ended in Lviv region. Odesa, Lutsk, Cherkasy and Poltava are also planning to turn off the heating in the near future, given the warming.
Today, March 26, the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Maksym Kozytskyi signed an order on the completion of the heating season in the Lviv region. UNN tells where the heating season has already ended, and where it is planned to turn off the heat.
Details
"Given the significant warming, I signed an order to complete the heating season in the Lviv region," Kozytskyi said.
He noted that the decision to end the heating season is made by local self-government bodies, based on the average daily air temperature.
"The disconnection of heating systems in healthcare, culture, preschool and school education and social and medical institutions is carried out according to the written requests of their managers," added the head of the Regional State Administration.
Addition

In Lviv, heat supply was temporarily suspended during the day from March 20. The reason is an increase in air temperature. Currently, heat is supplied only at night.
In Cherkasy, the city council today, March 26, was supposed to consider a draft decision on the completion of the heating season from today, but this decision does not apply to preschool education and health care institutions. It is proposed to supply heat to such institutions until April 1.
