Mette Frederiksen called the support for Ukraine Europe's self-defense. Russia uses disinformation and threats to pressure NATO and Baltic countries.

European countries must continue to support Ukraine, as it is not a matter of aid out of solidarity, but of protecting their own security. This was stated by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during a joint media briefing in the NB8 format, reports UNN.
According to the head of the Danish government, Russia continues to use threats, disinformation, and manipulation to pressure European states.
"Russia is testing us, our ability to respond and defend ourselves. It uses false narratives and disinformation to create fear and divide us. It threatens the use of force against the Baltic countries and NATO,"
She emphasized that European countries must soberly assess the threats from the Kremlin.
