The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed preventive measures on three more suspects in the Solsky case of illegal seizure of state land worth UAH 481 million in Sumy region.
Judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) have imposed preventive measures on three more suspects in the case of land seizure in Sumy region. This was reported by the SAPO press service, UNN reports .
On April 26-29, 2024, the HACC investigating judges applied preventive measures to three more suspects in the case of land seizure in Sumy region of about 2.5 thousand hectares worth UAH 291 million and attempts to seize land of about 3.3 thousand hectares worth another UAH 190 million,
Details
Thus, a measure of restraint in the form of detention was imposed on one of the co-organizers with an alternative of UAH 30 million bail.
One of the accomplices was held in custody with a bail of UAH 5 million and the other accomplice was released on bail of UAH 7.5 million.
The actions are classified under Part 5 of Article 191 and Part 3 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 15, Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada's agriculture committee and current minister was served with a notice of suspicion of illegally seizing about 2,500 hectares of state land worth UAH 291 million in Sumy region and attempting to seize another 3,300 hectares worth UAH 190 million.
Subsequently, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solsky was bailed out for UAH 75.7 million.
Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk saidthat the next session of the parliament will consider a letter of resignation from Mykola Solsky, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
