Our ability to monitor the radiation situation around Zaporizhzhya NPP has decreased, as 4 out of 14 stations outside the perimeter of the plant are currently not working, which deprives Ukraine and the world of up-to-date and truthful information about the radiation situation at Zaporizhzhya NPP and the surrounding areas, Korikov said.

Our capabilities to monitor the radiation situation around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant have decreased. SNRIU Chairman Oleh Korikov told about this on the air of "We are Ukraine" TV channel, UNN reports.

According to him, out of 14 stations outside the perimeter of the station, four are currently out of service.

It is known that until recently three stations were not working, and now another one has joined them.

"We have several sensors deployed on the territory controlled by Ukraine, and we receive information online from these sensors. However, the standard designed system does not work to the required extent. And this actually deprives Ukraine and the world of up-to-date and truthful online information about the radiation situation at the ZNPP and the adjacent territory from the standard designed system," Korikov said.
