Over five days, Russia attacked the railway 41 times; this week alone, 11 locomotives were damaged. Ukrzaliznytsia reports this, UNN informs.

It is noted that during these five days, passengers had to be evacuated from trains 350 times.
Stations, tracks, trains and, most terrifyingly, people have come under attack. This week, we lost six railway workers. Three of them rushed to restore service after a drone strike and the all-clear, after which the enemy hit the same location with deadly fast ballistic weapons. In addition, the enemy launched a horrific strike on warehouses in the Kyiv region, killing eight people on the nearby platform
It is noted that for the third day, the usual music has not been played at any of Ukrzaliznytsia’s stations, and the national flags have been lowered to half-mast.
"This is how we preserve the memory of those we have lost. And the next time you see a train passing by, remember the railway workers thanks to whom it continues on its journey," UZ urged.
