Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko stated that they managed to restore one of the key pieces of evidence in the case of the assassination attempt on the family of a Ukrainian businessman in Monaco, which the suspects tried to destroy. It concerns a video recording from a surveillance camera that the perpetrators had installed in advance near the crime scene, reports UNN.

Kravchenko emphasized that urgent investigative and procedural actions aimed at obtaining new evidence in the case of the attempted murder in the Principality of Monaco are actively ongoing.

Thanks to the professional work of specialists from the Security Service of Ukraine, one of the key pieces of evidence that the suspects tried to destroy was restored. It concerns a video recording from a surveillance camera that the perpetrators had installed in advance near the crime scene to obtain confirmation of the execution of the order. Despite the fact that this evidence was deleted, SBU specialists were able to restore it.

The Prosecutor General thanked the operational officers of the SBU, the National Police, investigators, and prosecutors for their professional and coordinated work.

We continue to work on establishing all the circumstances of the crime, the role of each person involved, and bringing the guilty to justice. No piece of evidence will be left out of the investigation's attention. We continue to work.

Kravchenko emphasized that Ukraine is open to full cooperation in accordance with international legal procedures.
