A North Korean delegation visited Iran to participate in an exhibition and held talks with the Iranian government and the private sector to develop bilateral trade, according to an Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, who denied any military aspects of the visit.

An official delegation from North Korea visited Tehran to participate in an exhibition and trade talks with the Iranian government and private sector, said Nasser Qanaani, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry. According to the official, the visit had no military dimensions, but consisted of talks on the development of bilateral trade between the countries.

UNN reported that a North Korean delegation led by the Minister of International Trade visited Iran, North Korea's official media reported on Wednesday. The talks between the two countries, which are believed to have secret military ties, were one of the few public ones.
