The President of Ukraine met with the Czech Prime Minister in Brussels to discuss further support. Ukraine needs 19 additional air defense systems to protect energy facilities.
In Brussels, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala to discuss continued support for Ukraine, UNN reports citing the Presidential Office.
Details
The Head of State thanked for the comprehensive assistance to Ukrainians in the fight against Russian aggression. Ukraine expects the next year to be as productive as possible for Ukrainian-Czech relations.
The President also noted the contribution of the Czech Republic to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and the decision to continue the initiative to supply artillery shells in 2025.

Zelenskyy spoke about current defense needs, among which the priority is to strengthen air defense. We need 19 additional air defense systems to protect strategic energy facilities. Strengthening Ukraine and strengthening our soldiers at the front brings the end of the war and a just peace for the whole of Europe closer.
In addition, the parties discussed Ukraine's European integration path, its restoration and the strengthening of sanctions pressure on Russia.
