The morning rocket attack on Kyiv on March 21 was aimed primarily at the facilities of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, but all missiles were successfully shot down by Ukrainian air defense.

Context
According to official information from the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of March 21, the enemy launched a missile attack with two Iskander-M (KN-23)/Kh-47M2 Kinzhal ballistic/aeroballistic missiles and 29 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from 11 Tu-95MS strategic bombers.
As reported in the KMVA, as a result of successful combat work, all enemy missiles were shot down over Kyiv and on the outskirts of the capital. As a result of rocket attacks in Kyiv, 13 people were wounded , including 6 in Sviatoshynskyi district and 7 in Shevchenkivskyi district. In particular, 4 people were hospitalized, no one was killed.
