Ministry of Defense officially approves 'Plyushch' ground drone for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially codified and approved for operation the "Plyushch" (Ivy) ground unmanned platform, developed by the Ukrainian company "Robotic Complexes." This was reported by Defense Blog, according to UNN.

"Plyushch" is a mobile reconnaissance and relay platform weighing about a ton, equipped with a 10-meter retractable mast. The system can carry communication, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare equipment, and elevating the equipment above ground level significantly improves its operational range in frontline conditions. The platform is capable of moving at speeds up to 12 km/h and operating at a distance of up to 40 km.
The company notes that "Plyushch" can operate autonomously for up to four days in ambush mode without operator intervention. This allows the system to be used for surveillance, signal relay, or electronic warfare at forward positions without the constant presence of personnel, reducing the risks of detection by Russian direction-finding systems and artillery.
According to Defense Blog, the platform is already being used by Ukrainian combat units at the front, and official codification took place after its combat deployment. Additionally, "Plyushch" will become available through the Brave1 Market digital platform, which allows military units to purchase new Ukrainian developments via the E-points system without lengthy bureaucratic procedures.
