Massive drone attack and explosions near military facilities reported in Crimea

Explosions rang out near military airfields and oil depots in occupied Crimea. Reports indicate a massive drone attack and a strike on a military unit.
On the evening of June 3, a series of explosions occurred in occupied Crimea in the areas of Simferopol, Sevastopol, Dzhankoy, and the "Kacha" airfield. This was reported by the "Crimean Wind" Telegram channel and the ATESH partisan movement, according to UNN.

According to "Crimean Wind," numerous explosions were recorded between approximately 10:30 PM and 11:50 PM in the area of the "Kacha" military airfield, Cape Fiolent, near Simferopol, and near Hvardiiske. Local residents also reported the operation of anti-aircraft guns, searchlights, and mobile fire groups.
In the area of the village of Hresivskyi, according to eyewitnesses, at least several explosions were heard. It later became known that two FPV drones had detonated. A powerful explosion and a glow were also reported. Two oil depots of the TES network, which had already been attacked in 2025, are located near this area.
Strike on a military unit reported
At approximately 11:44 PM, according to "Crimean Wind" subscribers, an incoming strike hit a Russian military unit in the center of Simferopol. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.
The ATESH movement also reported drones flying over Sevastopol, explosions in the city's Nakhimovsky district, and active Russian air defense operations. Additionally, the partisans stated that drones were moving toward occupied Melitopol, where Russian forces attempted to intercept them. At the time of publication, Russian authorities had not commented on the possible consequences of the attack.
