The club has signed an agreement with La Liga club Girona to bring the Ukrainian center forward, who turned 27 in June, to the Giallorossi on a permanent deal. A left-footed and intelligent player, Artem was La Liga's top scorer in the 2023/24 season, scoring 24 goals in 36 games and providing eight assists. These exceptional figures contributed to the first historic Champions League qualification for the Catalan club, which finished third in Spain's top flight last season

It is noted that Dovbyk will play for Wolves under the number 11 and will become the first Ukrainian in the history of Roma. The club also emphasized that this is the first time that the club has bought the top scorer of the previous season in any European league.

According to media reports, Dovbyk signed a contract for 5 years, until the summer of 2029.

The transfer of the 27-year-old forward cost Roma 30.5 million euros plus 6 million euros in bonuses, and Girona will receive another 10% of the transfer price in the event of a subsequent resale. The salary will be 3 million euros per year, excluding bonuses.

The media also reported that Dovbyk had refused a €1.5 million payment from Girona.
