Iran struck a power plant and a desalination plant in Kuwait for the second time, causing a fire. Kuwait is one of the countries that most frequently suffers Iranian attacks since the resumption of hostilities between Tehran and Washington.
The Ministry of Electricity, Water Resources and Renewable Energy of Kuwait reported in a statement published recently that Iran attacked a power plant and desalination plant in Kuwait for the second time in two days, amid ongoing Iranian strikes on US regional allies, reports UNN citing CNN.

The Iranian strike was "despicable," the ministry said, calling it "the second hostile attack in two days."
A fire broke out as a result, affecting "a large number of power units," the ministry reported, leading to the activation of emergency action plans to maintain the stability of the plant's power system.
Yesterday's attack also caused a fire at the plant, but only in "one of its components," according to the ministry's statement.
A similar attack occurred on Friday, the ministry said, after which the power units of the Kuwaiti power plant and desalination plant were damaged by a fire caused by the Iranian strike.
The publication notes that Kuwait is one of the countries most frequently attacked by Iran since the resumption of hostilities between Tehran and Washington. In Kuwait, water desalination covers about 90% of freshwater needs.
