A resident of Zhytomyr region informed the SBU about an attempted recruitment for Starlink terminal verification. This allowed to thwart Russia's plans and identify the masterminds.

This became possible thanks to the information campaign "Burn the FSB agent" and the SBU hotline, which was contacted by a resident of Zhytomyr region, whom the Rashists planned to use for the verification of satellite terminals.
According to the case materials, Russian special services tried to recruit the woman through Telegram. In exchange for money, an FSB officer offered her to register Starlink in her name at the local Administrative Services Center.
After that, she was supposed to transfer the details of the satellite terminal to the Russian special service.
Subsequently, the enemy planned to use the woman to recruit other straw persons to illegally register Starlink.
However, instead of working for the Rashists, the woman immediately contacted the SBU hotline, providing comprehensive information about the Rashists' attempts to recruit her.
It is noted that this allowed not only to thwart the attempt of illegal verification of satellite terminals, but also to identify the Russian "customers" and document their crimes.
The Security Service of Ukraine urges citizens to be vigilant. If you are approached with dubious offers, you see suspicious objects and persons, or you receive information about the activities of Russian special services, pages on the Internet and social networks that they use for recruitment, report this to the SBU.
