A passenger of a Skoda Octavia car threw an object resembling a grenade toward patrol officers near Uman. He was detained, no one was injured.

On the weekend, a passenger of a Skoda Octavia car, passing by a patrol police road station near the city of Uman, threw an object resembling a grenade toward the patrol officers.
According to law enforcement, no one was injured as a result of the explosion.
We promptly stopped the car on the M-05 Kyiv — Odesa highway and detained the passenger.
At the scene, we called an investigative-operational group, which seized fragments for examination and will establish all circumstances of the incident.
Investigators qualified the man's actions under Part 1 of Article 345 (Threat of murder, violence, or destruction or damage to property against a law enforcement officer in connection with the performance of official duties by this officer) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A preventive measure of detention was chosen.
