First conscripts from border guard detachment demobilized in Zakarpattia

25 conscripts of the Chop border guard detachment were discharged from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 11 of them were recognized for their heroism, resilience and steadfastness during the fighting in Bakhmut, Donetsk region, and were awarded various medals and orders.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces dismissed 25 conscripts from the Chop border guard detachment. This was reported by UNN with reference to the State Border Guard Service.

Details

The agency said that 11 of them took part in hostilities near Bakhmut in Donetsk region on their own initiative. Their heroism, resilience, and steadfastness were recognized by the President of Ukraine and the leadership of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

In particular, one of the border guards, soldier Maxim Musienko, went through the hell of Russian captivity. Also, senior soldier Pavlo Vergeliuk was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine".

In addition, senior soldiers Denys Tsybulenko, Vladyslav Lopandya and soldier Artem Lystopad were awarded the medals "To the Defender of Ukraine". In addition, senior soldier Maksym Zelenskyi was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.
