Explosions and air defense activity have been recorded in Crimea near the Kacha and Belbek airfields. Eyewitnesses report gunfire in Sevastopol and Simferopol.

In temporarily occupied Crimea, a series of explosions, air defense activity, and gunfire near military facilities in Sevastopol, Simferopol, and the Bakhchysarai district were reported in the evening. The peninsula is likely under a drone attack. This was reported by the "Crimean Wind" Telegram channel and the "ATESH" partisan movement, according to UNN.

According to sources, several powerful explosions occurred near the "Kacha" military airfield near Sevastopol. Reports of explosions began to arrive around 11:00 PM.
Eyewitnesses also reported active fire from machine guns, anti-aircraft guns, and Russian "Pantsir" air defense systems in the vicinity of the airfield.
Gunfire heard in Sevastopol and near Belbek
"Crimean Wind" reported that "machine guns and anti-aircraft guns are firing non-stop at the Kacha airfield." There were also reports of gunfire near the "Belbek" airfield and explosions at Cape Fiolent in Sevastopol.

According to local Telegram channels, a Russian anti-aircraft gun was also active in the village of Berehove, Bakhchysarai district.
Eyewitnesses described the situation in Sevastopol as "very loud," and the explosions in the "Kacha" area as some of the most powerful in recent times.
There is currently no official information from the Russian occupation authorities regarding the causes of the explosions or potential consequences.
