Defense Forces hit 5 strategic plants and 10 oil refineries in Russia during March - Ministry of Defense

Key military plants and enemy oil refining facilities were destroyed during March. The Ministry of Defense stated the difficulty of restoring the damaged capacities.

Throughout March 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of large-scale strikes on facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex in the aggressor country's territory, as well as in the occupied territories of Ukraine. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Details
During this period, 5 military factories and 10 oil refineries were hit, as well as ships, missile systems, and air defense systems. Among the affected facilities are the following:
- "Kremniy El" plant in Bryansk;
- "Aviastar" aircraft plant in Ulyanovsk;
- 123rd aircraft repair plant in Staraya Russa;
- Alchevsk Metallurgical Combine;
- "Granit" Innovation Center in Sevastopol.
In addition, 10 oil industry facilities were hit: Russian oil refineries, terminals, and ports. Among them are "Albashneft" and "Afipsky" oil refineries, "Caucasus" Port and "Shesharis" oil and fuel terminal (Novorossiysk), "Saratovsky" oil refinery and "Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim", "Kirishsky" and "Yaroslavsky" oil refineries, "Transneft - Port Primorsk" and "NOVATEK-Ust-Luga" terminals.
Also, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine noted: it will be expensive and difficult for the Russians to restore the aforementioned facilities.
The harder it is for the enemy to produce weapons, the less capacity they have to kill Ukrainians

In early March 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit more than 20 targets that provide Russian air defense. These include anti-aircraft missile systems, radar stations, and large electronic warfare facilities.
