Three suspects were arrested without bail for defrauding foreigners and Ukrainians. Other defendants were placed under house arrest and bail of UAH 9.9 million.
In Dnipro, the court chose pre-trial detention measures for members of a fraudulent call center network that defrauded citizens of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and the EU. Three suspects were taken into custody without bail, one with the possibility of bail of almost UAH 10 million, and the rest were placed under round-the-clock house arrest. This was reported by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, writes UNN.
The court chose pre-trial detention measures for members of a criminal organization from Dnipro, which operated under the guise of a network of so-called call centers and specialized in "romantic" and "investment" schemes, extorting funds from citizens of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and EU countries.
Three suspects were remanded in custody without the right to bail.
Another suspect was remanded in custody with the alternative of bail in the amount of UAH 9.9 million.
Regarding the other four members of the network, the court applied round-the-clock house arrest.
