The largest volume of future spending was declared by Google's parent company, Alphabet. It reported commitments of $902 billion, more than nine times the figure from last year. Meta, in turn, announced nearly $700 billion in future spending, with approximately half of that amount allocated to long-term leases of data centers for up to 30 years.
Companies continue to ramp up spending despite investor doubts
