More than a third of the 204 battles on the front line last day took place in only one direction - in the Pokrovsk direction, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the morning report on June 6, showing a map of hostilities for June 5, writes UNN.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike using one missile at the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 53 airstrikes, including dropping 79 guided aerial bombs. In addition, he carried out 5,955 shellings, 84 of which were from rocket launcher systems, and used more than 3,500 kamikaze drones for strikes.
"Yesterday, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 12 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 6 artillery pieces, an ammunition depot and a UAV control point of the enemy," the report says.
Situation by directions
Over the past day, nine combat clashes took place in the Kharkiv direction in the areas of Starytsa, Vovchansk, Vovchansk Khutory, Zapadny and in the direction of Dovgenke.
In the Kupyansk direction, five attacks by the occupiers were recorded during the day. The Defense Forces repelled the enemy's assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Zapadne, Petropavlivka, Zagryzove and in the direction of Golubivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 20 times. He tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Grekivka, Novy Myr, Ridkodub, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Lypove, Torske and towards Grygorivka.
In the Siversky direction, three combat clashes took place near Verkhnokamyanske last day. All attempts by the enemy to advance were repelled by our defenders.
Last day, nine combat clashes took place in the Kramatorsk direction near Chasovoy Yar, Kurdyumivka and in the direction of Predtechyne, Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 18 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Diliivka, Toretsk, Nelipivka, Shcherbinivka and in the direction of Oleksandro-Kalynove, Yablunivka, Rusynyi Yar.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 76 attacks by the aggressor in the areas of Poltavka, Myrolyubivka, Malynivka, Shevchenko Pershe, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zvirlove, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novosergiyivka, Novoolesksandrivka, Gorikhove, Novoukrainka, Andriivka and towards Pokrovsk and Oleksiivka.
In the Novopavlivsky direction, the Defense Forces repelled 26 enemy assaults near the settlements of Bahatyr, Kostyantynopil, Rivnopil, Novosilka, Zelene Pole and in the direction of Oleksiivka, Komar.
In the Hulyaypilsky direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our defenders eight times in the Malinivka area and near Novozlatopol.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupying forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces four times near Stepovoy, Maly Shcherbaky and in the direction of Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovsky direction, our defenders successfully stopped three enemy attacks.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
"In the Kursk direction, our soldiers repelled 16 enemy attacks last day. The invaders also carried out 197 artillery shellings, five of which were from rocket launcher systems; launched 10 air strikes, during which they dropped 22 guided aerial bombs," the report said.
