"More than ten ordinary residential buildings were damaged during the Russian shelling of Sloviansk in the evening. Unfortunately, three people were killed. In Sumy, a Shahed strike and a subsequent FPV drone attack on a Nova Poshta branch also killed three people. My condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. They could not have been unaware that all these are civilian objects. In Kharkiv, a drone struck a high-rise building. An ordinary clothing market in Zaporizhzhia was set on fire. The terror of people with drones continues constantly in Kherson and the Kherson region. Poltava region, Chernihiv region, Odesa region, Mykolaiv region, and Dnipro region were also under attack," Zelenskyy wrote on social media.
In total, he noted, the Russians used two missiles and nearly 160 drones.
"As of now, ten wounded people are known across the country this night," Zelenskyy reported.
Against this backdrop, the President emphasized: "Air defense is now a priority of every international meeting and every state institution. Everything we agree on with partners must be implemented faster. Everywhere that authorities can help organize sky protection, it must be done. Ukraine's resilience must be greater. Thank you to everyone who helps."
