Funds raised through UNITED24 were allocated for equipment and generators for kindergartens and vocational schools in frontline regions

The Cabinet of Ministers is allocating UAH 41.1 million from UNITED24 for computers, furniture and generators for educational institutions. The funds will be distributed among Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Kharkiv regions.

The Cabinet of Ministers will allocate UAH 41.1 million to purchase computer equipment, software, furniture and necessary teaching aids, as well as to purchase and install generators for educational institutions in frontline regions. Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi reported this, UNN.  reports.

We are allocating UAH 41.1 million from funds raised through UNITED24 to equip the educational environment and provide backup power for educational institutions in frontline regions

According to him, UAH 30.7 million will be allocated to preschool education institutions in Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Kharkiv regions to purchase computer equipment, software, furniture and necessary teaching aids.

Another UAH 10.4 million will be allocated to purchase and install generators in vocational and professional pre-higher education institutions in Zaporizhzhia region.

Communities must promptly carry out the relevant purchases to ensure that the educational process is maintained at an appropriate level

Additional information

In accordance with Resolution No. 1017, the government distributed the balance of the special fund of the state budget, formed from funds received in 2025 into the account for meeting the needs of education and science, for the provision of a safe educational environment through the purchase and installation of generators. 

In accordance with the resolution, Zaporizhzhia region will receive UAH 9 million 750 thousand to purchase and install independent sources of electricity. 

The remaining funds will be allocated to purchase teaching aids and equipment, furniture for civil protection shelters, computer equipment and software for Zaporizhzhia, Odesa and Kharkiv regions. 

The document states that the requirements for computer equipment are determined in accordance with the standard list of computer equipment for preschool, general secondary and vocational (vocational-technical) education institutions approved by the Ministry of Education and Science.  

The requirements for the material and technical, educational and methodological, and information support of preschool education institutions are determined in accordance with the indicative lists approved by the Ministry of Education and Science. 

The requirements for furniture are determined in accordance with sanitary legislation and state standards. 

When purchasing teaching aids and equipment, the relevant local self-government bodies take into account the floor area of the premises of educational institutions and also ensure the mandatory use of the purchased teaching aids and equipment in the educational process.
