As noted by the ministry's spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal, the country will be represented by chief diplomat Vikram Misri at the first round of negotiations. Details of the participation are not yet disclosed.

Over 40 countries are participating in the negotiations
The negotiations are chaired by the United Kingdom and bring together representatives from over 40 states, including France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Japan, and the UAE. The United States is not participating in the meeting.
The Strait of Hormuz, a key route for oil supplies, remains almost completely closed after the escalation of the conflict involving Iran, the US, and Israel, which has already affected global energy markets.
