A third of the 152 battles on the front line yesterday took place in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in its morning summary on February 6, showing a map of the combat operations, writes UNN.
Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on the enemy. In total, 152 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy launched 80 air strikes, dropped 197 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 6235 kamikaze drones for attacks and carried out 3044 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including 65 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor launched air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Zelenaya Dolina, Levadne, Orly, Prosyana in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Rizdvyanka, Barvinivka, Kopani, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Verkhnya Tersa, Huliaipilske, Hirke, Charivne, Lisne, Liubytske, Dolynka, Zelena Dibrova in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Vesele in Kherson Oblast.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces hit a command post, a ground control station for UAVs, eight enemy electronic warfare and artillery systems, four areas of concentration of personnel, and one other important target of the Russian invaders.
Situation by directions
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 76 shellings over the past day, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders three times, in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory.
In the Kupyansk direction, there were two enemy attacks yesterday. Our defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions in the area of the settlement of Zahryzove and towards Kupyansk.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted nine attacks. They tried to penetrate our defense in the areas of the settlements of Drobycheve, Zarichne, and towards Stavky, Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk direction, over the past day, our defenders stopped 12 attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of the settlements of Yampil, Dronivka, and towards Zakitne, Platonivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 18 attacks near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, Kleban-Byk, and towards Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 31 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiia, and towards Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Novyi Donbas.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy carried out three attacks over the past day, in the area of Zlahoda and towards Oleksandrivka.
In the Huliaipole direction, there were 23 attacks by the occupiers - in the areas of Huliaipole, Myrnyi, and towards Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Pryluky, Varvarivka, Sviatopetrivka, Zelene.
In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the area of Prymorske.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy conducted one unsuccessful offensive action over the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.
