Zelenskyy explains why the Ukraine-US Drone Deal has not yet been concluded

Ukraine and the US have not yet signed a framework agreement on drones despite being ready for testing. Donald Trump's consent is required to finalize the document.

Ukraine wanted to conclude the first Drone Deal with the United States of America. The Americans planned to test all types of Ukrainian drones. However, a bilateral agreement has not yet been signed. The Head of State announced this in an interview with Face the Nation, UNN reports.
"We agreed to how they wanted to test, use for training, and apply our systems in the air, on the ground, and at sea. But we still do not have a bilateral Drone Deal — a major framework document,"
According to him, Drone Deals that already exist have been concluded with some countries in the Middle East and Europe, and a major Drone Deal with the EU is currently being prepared.
"I hope that we will reach the same agreement with our American partners. I am counting on it,"
He explained that American companies possess advanced AI technologies that Ukraine does not have. In turn, Ukraine has much that the Americans lack, thanks to significant experience on the battlefield.
"I believe that this cooperation can be massive — the strongest of its kind in the world. We need to negotiate, not just talk about it. Take the necessary steps and do it as quickly as possible. For this, we need President Trump to say 'yes',"
