Monastyrok Tract
The Monastyrok Tract is located near the village of Lisnyky, close to Berezhany, and is known for its natural landscapes and historical ruins. Remains of a defensive church and monastery, which operated as early as the 14th century, have been preserved here. In later times, full-fledged monastic buildings were erected on this site, but in the last century, they were closed, and the church was destroyed. The ruins of the temple, which still make a strong impression, rise above the Strypa River. The place is shrouded in legends, particularly about a stone supposedly thrown by a devil who wanted to destroy the church but did not make it before dawn. Today, Monastyrok attracts tourists with its atmosphere of tranquility, picturesque trails, and natural panoramas.
Plebanivka Viaduct
The Plebanivka Viaduct is located near the village of Plebanivka and is one of the oldest bridges in Ukraine. It was built in 1896 during the Austro-Hungarian period as an important infrastructure object. The structure is about 120 meters long and reaches a height of 30 meters. The viaduct consists of several arches and has a massive structure that has been well preserved to this day. Despite its age, the bridge is still used for railway traffic. Optimistic Cave
Optimistic Cave is one of the largest caves in the world. It was discovered in 1960 by Lviv speleologists, and research continues to this day. It is located near the village of Korolivka and is considered the longest gypsum cave on the planet, with explored passages over 260 km long. The cave is also known for its unique stalactites and underground lakes. One of these lakes is 40 meters long, and the temperature inside is constantly stable — about 9.8°C. You can visit this natural wonder only as part of an excursion group with instructors who ensure safety.
Island of Lovers
