The Pentagon announces the 70th tranche of military aid to Ukraine worth $275 million. The package includes ammunition for HIMARS, artillery, anti-tank systems, UAVs, and other equipment.
The US Department of Defense has announced a new $275 million aid package for Ukraine, UNN reports.

"The Department of Defense (DoD) today announced additional security assistance to meet Ukraine's critical security and defense needs. This announcement is the seventieth tranche of equipment the Biden Administration has provided to Ukraine from DoD stockpiles since August 2021. This PDA package, with an estimated value of $275 million, will provide Ukraine with additional capabilities to meet its most urgent needs, including ammunition for missile systems, artillery, and anti-tank weapons," the Pentagon said.
As indicated, the capabilities covered by this package include:
Ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS);
155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition;
60mm and 81mm mortar rounds;
Unmanned Aerial Systems;
Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided (TOW) missiles;
Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems;
Small arms and ammunition;
Demolitions equipment and munitions;
Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear protective equipment; and
Spare parts, ancillary equipment, services, training, and transportation.
"The United States will continue to work with approximately 50 allies and partners through the Ukraine Defense Contact Group and related coalitions on capabilities to meet Ukraine's urgent needs on the battlefield and to defend against Russian aggression," the Pentagon said.
