From 11 to 15 July, the southern, eastern, Poltava, Dnipro and Kirovohrad regions of Ukraine are expected to experience an abnormal heat wave with temperatures of up to 40-41°C, which is close to the absolute maximums recorded in the country's history.

An abnormal heat wave is expected in Ukraine next week - the air will warm up to 40-41° in the southern, eastern, Poltava, Dnipro and Kirovohrad regions. This was warned by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, UNN reports.

Forecasters predict that the heatwave will last  from July 11-15.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center explains that this abnormal heat is due to the spread of tropical air from northern Africa to Ukraine. 

40-41° is close to the absolute maximum temperature recorded in Ukraine in the entire history of observations. Weather conditions can negatively affect people's health! Be careful, stay indoors if possible and drink plenty of water
