About 200 combat engagements took place over the past day, with 47 attacks in the Vremivsk sector. The enemy was also actively attacking in the Kursk sector, where it made 41 attempts to advance.
Over the past 24 hours, on December 21, the number of attacks at the front decreased slightly. Most of all, the occupants stormed the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Vremivsk and Kursk directions. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, UNN reports.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Ivanivka, Yampolivka, Zakitne, Siversk, Zvanivka, Markove, Chasiv Yar, Kostiantynivka, Romanivka, Katerynivka, Udachne, Oleksandropil, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Zvirove, Temyrivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske and Antonivka,
Yesterday, the missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces conducted ten strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and weapons.
In the Kharkiv sector , the enemy continued assault operations, with a total of six combat engagements. The fighting took place in the areas of Kozacha Lopan, Vysoka Yaruga and Vovchansk.
Four enemy attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector over the last day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Petropavlivka and Kruhlyakivka.
In the Liman sector , the enemy attacked 20 times. He tried to advance near Zelenyi Hai, Hrekivka, Nadiya, Terny and Ivanivka.
Using aviation in the Siverskyi sector , the enemy attacked twice in the direction of Verkhnekamianske and Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants conducted two assaults near Stupochki.
In the Toretsk sector , the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Toretsk and Druzhba.
In the Pokrovsky sector, our defenders repelled 29 aggressor attacks near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Dachenske and Novovasylivka. The enemy actively used aviation.
In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 15 attacks in the areas of Staryi Terny, Kurakhove and Dachne.
In the Vremivsk sector, according to updated information, the enemy carried out 47 attacks on our positions near Uspenivka, Yantarne, Kostiantynopol, Novosilka, Blahodatne and in the direction of Rozlyv and Odradne.
Ukrainian positions in the Orikhivsk sector were attacked seven times in the vicinity of Novoandriivka and Pyatikhatky over the last day.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, our defenders repelled five assault operations, the enemy was not successful.
Ukrainian defense forces continue to repel attacks by occupation army units in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy made 41 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders back.
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements. He is conducting reconnaissance.
