Generation
"Yesterday, at Poland's request, electricity was transmitted to Ukraine's power grid from 14:30 to 17:00 in the total amount of 1000 MWh," the Ministry said on social media.
As indicated, a TPP unit has been put out of service for emergency short-term repairs. "To cover the needs of consumers, reserves of heat and hydro generation are used. Commercial imports and exports of electricity are planned," the agency said.
"The situation is under control. The power system is balanced. No electricity shortage is expected," the Ministry of Energy said in a statement.
Consequences of shelling
Reportedly, as a result of repeated shelling in Chernihiv region, 10 kV lines were disconnected, and more than 2,000 consumers were cut off.
The mine, which was de-energized as a result of hostilities in Donetsk region, has been re-energized and workers have been brought to the surface, the Energy Ministry said.
As a result of hostilities, a high-pressure gas distribution pipeline in Kharkiv region was reportedly damaged. More than 600 consumers and a municipal facility were left without gas supply.
De-energization
Due to technological violations, equipment at a 330 kV substation in the frontline region of Kharkiv Oblast was disconnected, several substations were de-energized, and household consumers were promptly supplied with electricity, the Energy Ministry said.
Import and export
For the current day, as indicated, electricity imports are projected at 4241 MWh, and exports are also expected to reach 2630 MWh.
