US President Donald Trump has extended the ceasefire with Iran until April 26, the US informed Israel, Ynet reports, citing an Israeli source, writes UNN.

According to the publication's interlocutor, the American side officially informed Israel about the extension of the truce for several more days.
Earlier, the White House stated that the truce announced on April 21 could last an additional three to five days. At the same time, Israeli officials are skeptical about the possibility of reaching agreements within this period.
Israel's doubts and US military presence
Israeli officials note that they do not expect a quick breakthrough in the negotiations. In particular, the situation is affected by the continuation of US military activity in the region.
This refers to the advancement of the aircraft carrier USS George Bush towards the Persian Gulf, which is expected to arrive in the region in the coming days.
White House position
At the same time, the White House denied information about setting clear deadlines for the truce, including the previously mentioned "three to five days."
Administration spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt stated that the president expects a coordinated position from the Iranian leadership regarding the negotiations.
According to her, further steps and deadlines will be determined depending on this position.
