Three out of ten points violated even before the start of peace talks - Iran's parliament speaker made a harsh statement

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, claims that three out of 10 points of the Iranian proposal, described as an agreed framework for negotiations, were violated even before the start of talks with the United States, UNN reports with reference to CNN.

Details

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that Iran's call for a ceasefire in Lebanon was ignored, that a drone entered Lebanese airspace in violation of a clause prohibiting such actions, and that Iran's right to enrich uranium was not recognized.

"In such a situation, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations are not advisable," he said.

CNN reached out to the White House for comment.

The US has not launched military strikes against Iran since the ceasefire began, a US official told CNN.

The White House previously stated that Lebanon is not a party to the ceasefire and that Iran's uranium enrichment must be stopped.

Recall

On the night of April 8, US President Donald Trump announced a two-week suspension of attacks on Iran.

Iran and Israel, following the US, agreed to a two-week ceasefire.
