The Tabaki checkpoint on the border with Moldova was damaged by Russian drones. After repairs, the passage of people and vehicles was restored.

During the night of August 21, Russian attack drones targeted the Bolhrad and Izmail districts of Odesa region. One of the strikes hit the infrastructure of the Tabaky border crossing, damaging buildings and structures and causing fires on the site.
Because of the damage caused by the attack, the passage of people and vehicles through the crossing was temporarily suspended, and traffic flows were redirected to other border crossings. The Ukrainian side also informed Moldovan border guards about the situation.
Passenger and vehicle processing through Tabaky has now resumed, and the crossing is operating again on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.
