On the night of August 5, Russian troops launched a massive missile strike on the Kyiv region, causing fires in the Brovary, Fastiv, and Bucha districts. Rescuers are eliminating the consequences, information about casualties is being clarified.

According to rescuers, on the night of August 5, Russian troops launched another massive missile strike on Kyiv region. SES units continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack and work at the impact sites.
In the Brovary district, as a result of the shelling, large-scale fires broke out on the territory of logistics and warehouse complexes, industrial enterprises, commercial facilities, and other structures.
Fires were recorded in three districts of the region
In the Fastiv district, in the village of Kalynivka, after the enemy strike, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the enterprises. Rescuers managed to completely extinguish the fire.
In the Bucha district, logistics complexes also caught fire as a result of the attack. Work to eliminate the consequences is ongoing there.
The SES noted that information about the dead, injured, and other consequences of the Russian attack is being clarified.
