The SBU (Security Service of Ukraine) has detained a resident of Myrnograd - an informant of the Russian Federation, who was spying on HIMARS in the Pokrovsk direction. The suspect faces up to 8 years in prison.
The Security Service of Ukraine has detained an informant of the Russian Federation who was spying on HIMARS rocket systems in the Pokrovsk direction, the SBU reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

According to the SBU, the informant was passing on the locations of the Defense Forces in Donetsk region to the occupiers. The enemy, as indicated, was particularly interested in the HIMARS deployment points in the Pokrovsk direction. The informant also, according to the SBU, tried to determine the coordinates of the headquarters, strongholds and routes of movement of the heavy weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine there.
"The intelligence data was needed by the aggressor to prepare new offensive operations and missile strikes in this direction of the front", the SBU reported.
The Security Service detained a man. This is a resident of Myrnograd, the special service indicated.
He was informed of a suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He is in custody. The man faces up to 8 years in prison.
