On the night of June 2, Russian troops are carrying out a large-scale combined attack on Kyiv using ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as strike drones. Air defense forces are operating continuously in the capital. According to the Air Force, before the missile attack, the enemy launched dozens of strike drones across various regions of Ukraine. Following this, launches of cruise missiles and ballistic weaponry were recorded. Monitoring channels also reported missiles, likely of the "Zircon" type, moving toward Kyiv from the direction of the Chernihiv region.

The KCMA urged residents not to leave shelters

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, addressed the residents of the capital with an appeal to remain in safe places.

According to monitoring resources, at least 14 ballistic missiles have already been fired at Kyiv. New waves of missiles are also reported to be continuing to move toward the capital.

Monitors report strikes on energy infrastructure

Monitoring channels stated that Russian troops are striking energy infrastructure facilities in Kyiv.

Later, Timur Tkachenko reported: "In the Podilskyi district, non-residential buildings are on fire. In the Obolonskyi district, UAV debris fell near a kindergarten. Preliminarily, there are no casualties. Services are on their way. At another location in the Obolonskyi district, a fire was recorded on the territory of an unfinished building."
