The IAEA will hold a closed-door meeting on April 11 at its headquarters in Vienna to discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, at the request of Russia and Ukraine, following recent drone attacks on the plant.
On April 11, the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will hold a meeting at its headquarters in Vienna to discuss the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP. The agency clarified that the meeting was requested by Russia and Ukraine. This is stated in the IAEA report, reports UNN.
Details
The meeting shall be convened by the Chairman of the Management Board on the basis of two separate letters addressed to him in chronological order by the Russian Federation and Ukraine with a request to convene a meeting of the Management Board. The meeting will be closed to the press.

On April 5-9, Zaporizhzhia NPP was attacked by drones. The area of the cargo port and nitrogen-oxygen station, the canteen, the dome of the sixth power unit and the ZNPP training center were hit.
