The CPD explained that Russian propaganda disseminates information about the alleged preparation of a “powerful strike” against Ukrainian “call centers” and announces plans to use new North Korean ballistic missiles to fire on Kyiv.

The threat of missile attacks has existed 24/7 since the first day of the full-scale invasion. The aggressor does not inform about the attacks in advance, and such messages are a tool to increase panic among the population,

- the center noted.

The Center for Countering Disinformation reminded that it is important not to ignore air raid warnings, but to continue to follow official sources and go to shelter in case of danger.

We also ask the representatives of Ukrainian resources who picked up this news to take a balanced approach to the dissemination of such information, as this may unconsciously play along with the aggressor in its fear campaign,

- the center added.

Recall

Last month, the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv suspended operations due to the threat of a combined drone and missile attack. The embassies of Italy, Greece, and Spain also closed due to a possible air attack.
