President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that at a meeting he discussed the situation on the front,  particularly around Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk, the strength and potential of the units, determined a plan of active measures, and discussed priorities for August for long-range sanctions against Russia, UNN writes.

According to the President, he held a meeting with the military, the Ministry of Defence, and teams from the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Office.

First: a report by Mykhailo Drapatyi, Ihor Skybiuk, and Yevhenii Khmara on the situation at the front and key supply needs. Most attention is currently, of course, focused on Kostiantynivka and Sloviansk. Mykhailo reported on the strength and potential of the units involved in the area, as well as the key objectives and tasks being carried out. Yevhenii Khmara identified the needs for drone supplies and funding, which must be fulfilled without delay. We determined which of our active measures will be implemented in Donetsk region and in certain other areas of the front. I am grateful to all units for their resilience. Personnel issues in the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also discussed

Operations targeting Russian oil facilities and refining are ongoing. The cost of prolonging the war for the aggressor will increase. It is important that sanctions by our partners against Russia strengthen our long-range impact. We will discuss this with key states.
